to the web site of Faith United Protestant Church, in Park Forest,
Illinois. Faith Church was established in 1951 under the
sponsorship of the United Church of Christ. We are an
interdenominational church, welcoming people from all Christian
communities. We are a church that celebrates the diversity of
God's creation, and are open to all who seek to find a closer
relationship with the One "who is able to make all things new."

Opportunities
to Serve
There are openings on the Board of Christian Education.

We are looking for people to join our "sound team" to assist with
weekly and special services, special events, productions, concerts and
meetings that require the use of our sound system. If you are
interested in training and joining our team, or to receive further
information, contact Sylvia Gay or Vaughn Van Dolah.

What's
Happening at Faith:
Homecoming Sunday will
be observed Sept. 7.
"Voices of Faith" (Senior Choir) will return
at the 10:15 a.
m. service. Sunday School resumes;
Senior High Fellowship
will meet at 11:30 a.m., and Junior High Fellowship will meet at 4 p.m.
Summer office hours
are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through
Thursday, The building is closed every Friday until Labor Day

& Crafts event will be

We
are collecting toiletries for the Rich
Township Food Pantry. Bring your soaps, toothpaste,
lotion, shampoo, etc to deposit in the suitcase in Founders Hall until
September.
