The Voices of Faith | Bell Choir | Youth Choir | Faith Theater

The Voices of Faith (Faith Church's Adult Choir) is a 40-voice choir that is equally at home singing classical music and contemporary praise music.  The choir has recently performed Johannes Brahm's Ein Deutsches Requiem, John Rutter's Gloria, Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria, Robert Ray's Gospel Mass, Charles Gounod's St. Cecilia Mass, John Rutter's Gloria, John Ness Beck's The Shepherds, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Coronation Mass.
The Voices of Faith perform two anthems every Sunday as part of their contribution to the Sunday worship service.  They also perform at other special services throughout the church year.  This is a dedicated group of singers who delight in using their God-given talent to give praise to the Lord with a joyful song.  Rehearsals are Thursday evenings beginning at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary.  All adults and high school students are welcome.   (top)

The Faith Youth Choir meets on most Sunday mornings from 11:45 to 12:30 in room 24.  Refer to the calendar for schedule.  All school-aged youth are invited to attend.  Any youth that play instruments are invited to participate in youth services as well.

Though some songs are traditional, we have more of a contemporary repertoire.

Please join us and share your spirit through song!

Faith Church's
Bell Choir  is in a most successful season of ringing praises to God to enhance the sound of music at Faith's worship services.  Twelve ringers rehearse once a week (7-8 p.m. on Thursday) and perform once a month at the 10:15 a.m. service.  Anyone who is in sixth grade and older can be a member of the Bell Choir.  Our choir this year is a nice mixture of both younger and more veteran ringers.  The youngest ringer is a seventh grader and the older ones are adults who have played for well over a decade now.  Dedicated members all, they range from excellent musicians to those who don't read a note.  This is what the bell choir is all about:  volunteers who wish to serve the church with a talent they're not sure they have, but their commitment to the Bell Choir is paramount!

Faith Theater  is recognized as a special organization of the church.  They are responsible for "Presentations that are Good for the Soul."  They are self-supporting and present ongoing productions throughout the year.  Some of their offerings are the annual Twelfth Night Celebration, a spring musical presentation, participation in the Village of Park Forest annual 4th of July parade reaching out to the community, and a fall drama.  The 35th season is dedicated to our founding father, Dewey Helmick.  The final production for this season is the first Annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, I'm Getting Murdered in the Morning" and will be presented April 30, May 1 & 2 at 6:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 3 pm on Sunday.(top)
